Larry came to Glen Hope as Senior Pastor in August 2002. A native of Kentucky, Larry has served as a pastor since 1986. He is a graduate of Kentucky State University in Frankfort and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. |

Like Larry, Jim had the rich blessing of being born into a Christian home. “My earliest childhood memories are of being with my mom, in church,” Jim reflects. “Through her example, I accepted Christ as my Savior when I was 9 years old.” At the age of 19, he realized that God had called him into service for Him. Through the next 20 years, he served several churches as their part-time Music Minister while carrying on a full-time career in retail management. Then in 1991, God made it clear that he had called Jim into full-time music ministry. He came to Glen Hope as Minister of Music in June of 1992. “We have enjoyed His blessings here since 1992.” Jim comments, “and we look forward with great anticipation to what He has in store for us in the days to come.” |

Billy came to the position of Minister of Education and Missions in June 2006. Billy’s father was also a Southern Baptist pastor, and through the teaching of his godly parents he came to faith in Jesus Christ at the age of 7. “I’m absolutely convinced that we need to reach children with the Gospel and disciple believers of all ages through Sunday School” Billy states. “We also need to reach people around the world who are lost without Christ. Brent, a native to Alamance County, accepted Christ in 1999 here at Glen Hope Baptist Church. Since then Brent has felt the Lord's calling in his life to be in full time Christian service. He has served as a Sunday School teacher, deacon and interim Youth minister here at Glen Hope. In February 2009 Brent came on staff as our Student Pastor. Brent has a passion for our youth and desires to see God use today's youth in a mighty way. |
