Lao-Thai
![]() |
The Lao-Thai ministry offers love, fellowship, Bible study, counseling, and social services assistance for ethnic Laotians and Thais (predominantly Buddhist immigrants from the Southeast Asian countries of Laos and Thailand.) We meet every Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m. for Sunday School and a 10:30 a.m. joint worship with Glen Hope's main congregation. Pastor David Pettingell and his wife Noo-on have served with Laotian and Thai Christian nationals for nearly 30 years. Both also spearhead Glen Hope's emerging ministries in Thailand. Existing ministries in Thailand include a village house-church and a Bible study correspondence course. Newly emerging ministries include a second house-church and a daily evangelistic radio broadcast. Future ministries are planned for a transition center for homeless street orphans and adults, as well as a Christian cemetery. |
