Vermont Missions
The Green Mountain State, Vermont, is among the most picturesque of the fifty United States. There are beautiful lakes, rock-strewn rivers, and of course, the mountains themselves. In the midst of all the natural beauty, there is a spiritual darkness. Vermont was just recently recognized as the most unchurched state of our fifty. It is a very liberal state both politically and spiritually. There is a shortage of Bible-believing, evangelistic churches. Those churches that are evangelistic are usually very small, but are growing as people are searching for answers to today's ills. For the past five years, Glen Hope has partnered with the Green Mountain Baptist Association by sending teams to help spread the light of Christ by preaching, bringing musical concerts, encouraging church leaders, and prayerwalking many areas of the state targeted for new church plants.
