On the Road Again with the Older Adults!
Traveling has always been a big part of the Senior Adult Ministry. First, it offers fellowship. You in vehicles, both large and smaller with friends for a couple of hours to several days. You get to laugh and share for the travel period. Next, it offers times of inspiration as we visit sites and events of a spiritual nature. We've taken numbers of trips to Lancaster PA to see the Biblical presentations on the lives of great men and women of the faith such as; Noah, Daniel, Joseph, Jonah, Moses and Samson. Then there have been the fun trips like to Selma for their shows at the Rudy Theater. We always find good places to eat, like Shatley Springs, and the Robbin's Nest in Selma, and of course Cracker Barrel on our longer trips.
The next few months are going to offer a number of opportunities for us to "hit the road' to see and do some neat things.
