What to Expect
Where's the entrance?
Glen Hope has several entrances. You will find a greeter at every door to welcome you and direct you. In the back of the building you will find handicapped parking and an automatic sliding glass door that leads to our elevator. There is plenty of parking on both sides of our building as well as parking in the front of our building in the Burlington Industries parking lot. Special Guest Parking is located on the North Avenue side of our building.
What do I wear?
You are welcome at Glen Hope just as you are. We have members in coat and tie, members in jeans and t-shirt, and everywhere in between. We meet to worship the Lord and fellowship with other believers. We believe that it's the attitude of your heart that matters to God, rather than your physical appearance.
What style of music is used?
Our Sunday morning and evening services have a traditional atmosphere, and a mix of favorite hymns and modern worship songs led by our Choir.
What version of the Bible do you use?
Our Pastor preaches from the New International Version. We accept all versions of the Bible that hold true to God's Word.
How long is the service?
Our services are approximately one hour and 15 minutes.
Where do I sit?
You can sit wherever you feel comfortable in our sanctuary, from the front row on the main floor to the back row of the balcony. If you have difficulty locating a seat, our ushers are available to assist you.
I'm in a wheelchair. Where do I go?
Designated wheelchair access and seating is available on the main floor of our sanctuary. Our ushers will be happy to help you locate seating for yourself and anyone who is accompanying you.
How do I get involved in Sunday School?
Our Sunday School is at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings. For help finding the class that fits you just right, visit our Welcome Center. Also, greeters at each door will be glad to help you find a class.
What will my children do while I'm in the Worship Service?
Children are important to Glen Hope! We have Children's Church on the first and third Sundays of every month. On the other Sundays, we feel it is a special time for our families to worship together. We are thankful to have our children attend the Morning Worship Service. Preschool and Children's Ministries, Student Ministry
